Call forwarding guide

How to forward a Bell business line

On a Bell home or small-business line, forwarding is set from the phone itself with star codes. Pick the one that matches how you want your AI agent to help.

Bell Mobility (a cell phone as your business line)

Bell Mobility sets forwarding in your phone's call settings rather than with codes: on an iPhone, Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding; on Android, the Phone app → Settings → Calling accounts or Supplementary services → Call forwarding. Bell charges for call forwarding unless it's in your plan.

Good to know

  • Your AI agent's number is on your Phonefront dashboard. Enter it as 10 digits, area code first.
  • Lift the receiver and wait for the dial tone before each code.
  • If a code doesn't work, the feature may not be on your line — Bell can add it.
  • After setting it up, call your business number from another phone to check it reaches your AI agent.

From Bell's own support pages, checked October 2026 — codes can differ by plan, so confirm with your provider if one doesn't work: Bell: how to use call forwarding (small business) · Bell: call forwarding on a mobile phone
